Creating Your Deal Run Account
Getting started with Deal Run takes less than two minutes. This guide walks you through every step of the signup process, from choosing your authentication method to selecting a subscription plan and landing on your dashboard for the first time.
Step 1: Navigate to the signup page
Visit dealrun.ai and click the "Try it Free" button in the top navigation bar, or the "Try it Free" button on the homepage hero section. Both routes take you to the same authentication screen. If you already have an account, click "Log In" instead -- the authentication modal handles both new and returning users.
Step 2: Choose your sign-in method
Deal Run offers three ways to create your account. Pick whichever is most convenient -- you can always link additional sign-in methods later from your account settings.
Google sign-in
Click the "Continue with Google" button. A Google popup will appear asking you to select your Google account. If you're already signed into Chrome with your Google account, you may see a one-click option. After granting permission, your account is created instantly using your Google email and profile name. This is the fastest option and the one most users choose.
Apple sign-in
Click the "Continue with Apple" button. You will be redirected to Apple's sign-in page. You can authenticate with your Apple ID, Face ID, or Touch ID depending on your device. Apple gives you the option to hide your email -- if you choose this, Apple generates a private relay address that forwards to your real inbox. This works fine with Deal Run, but be aware that your profile will show the relay address unless you update it manually in your account settings. Apple sign-in works on all devices, not just Apple hardware.
Email and password
If you prefer a traditional signup, enter your email address and create a password. Your password must be at least 6 characters. After submitting, we send a verification email to the address you provided. Click the link in that email to verify your account. You can start using Deal Run immediately after signup -- the verification email is a background confirmation, not a blocker.
Whichever method you choose, your account is linked to the email address associated with that sign-in provider. If you sign up with Google using work@company.com, that becomes your Deal Run account email.
Step 3: Choose your plan
After authentication, you will see the plan selection screen. Deal Run offers three subscription tiers, each with monthly and annual billing options. Annual billing saves you roughly 17% compared to monthly.
Pro -- $99/month ($999/year)
- 15 deal searches per month -- each search finds landlords and flippers near a specific property address, returning up to 250 investors per deal
- Free skip tracing -- phone numbers and email addresses for investors you want to contact, included at no extra cost (cached forever -- trace once, keep forever across all deals)
- Email verification -- automatic deliverability checks on traced email addresses
- Full platform -- comp analysis, deal tracking board, marketing pages, email via Gmail, one-click text via iMessage/SMS, click-to-call, deal page view analytics
- Email support
Pro is the most popular plan and where Deal Run delivers its strongest value compared to competitors. At $99/month, you get the full platform -- buyer identification plus free skip tracing plus integrated outreach -- a combination that costs $249/month at InvestorBase (without built-in outreach) or $6,000+/year at InvestorLift.
Pro+ -- $199/month ($1,999/year)
- 50 deal searches per month, up to 500 investors per deal
- Free skip tracing
- Email + phone verification -- deliverability checks plus phone type and DNC/TCPA screening
- Everything in Pro
- Priority support + dedicated onboarding
Pro+ is for high-volume wholesalers and small teams running 10+ deals per month who need higher search capacity and phone verification.
Teams -- $249/month ($2,499/year, annual only)
- 100 deal searches per month, up to 500 investors per deal
- Free skip tracing
- Email + phone verification
- Everything in Pro+
- Coming Soon
Step 4: Enter payment information
After selecting your plan, you are redirected to a Stripe checkout page. Stripe handles all payment processing -- Deal Run never sees or stores your credit card number. Enter your card details, confirm your billing address, and click "Subscribe". You will be redirected back to Deal Run immediately after payment succeeds.
Deal Run offers a 14-day free trial with 1 deal search and up to 100 investors per deal so you can experience the full platform before committing. A credit card is required to start the trial, but you will not be charged until the trial ends. You can cancel anytime during the trial from your Account page without being charged.
Step 5: Land on your dashboard
After signup and plan selection, you land on the Deals page -- your home base inside Deal Run. The first time you arrive, you will see an empty deals board with a prompt to add your first property. The interface is built mobile-first, so if you signed up on your phone, you will see the same full-featured app that desktop users see, just optimized for a smaller screen.
Here is what you will see:
- Desktop: A left sidebar with navigation links -- Deals, Hub, Search, Sell, and Account. The main content area shows your deals board.
- Mobile: A bottom navigation bar with the same five tabs. The sidebar is hidden to maximize screen space.
Your account is now fully set up. The next step is to add your first property and start analyzing deals.
What happens behind the scenes
When you sign up, Deal Run creates several things automatically:
- Your user profile -- linked to your authentication credentials, your email, and your display name
- Your company ID -- a unique 5-digit identifier used in your public marketplace URLs (e.g., dealrun.ai/marketplace/company/48291). This is generated randomly and cannot be changed.
- Your subscription record -- tracks your plan tier, billing cycle, usage limits, and remaining credits
- Your buyer list -- an empty CRM that will grow as you search for and save investors
Troubleshooting
Google sign-in popup is blocked
Some browsers block the authentication popup by default. Look for a popup-blocked icon in your browser's address bar and click it to allow popups from dealrun.ai. Safari on iOS occasionally requires you to enable popups in Settings > Safari > Block Pop-ups (toggle off).
Apple sign-in shows "email hidden"
This is expected behavior when you choose Apple's "Hide My Email" option. The relay address (e.g., dxyz123@privaterelay.appleid.com) works normally for all Deal Run communications. If you want to update your display email, go to Account > Profile after signing in.
Verification email not received
Check your spam or junk folder. Gmail users should check the Promotions tab. The verification email usually arrives within 30 seconds. If you still do not see it after a few minutes, return to the login page, sign in with your email and password, and request a new verification email.
Once your account is created, head to Adding Your First Property to start using Deal Run.
